In the basement of my apartment building, in the West End of Vancouver, Canada, stands "the grey box", wooden, with a hinged lid, on legs. There's also an old carpet laid out beside it. On a bulletin board nearby there's a sign that says: "Feel free to take anything left in this area, or the contents of -- THE GREY BOX". People leave things there all the time - amazing things. This blog is about what I've taken from the grey box - literally and figuratively.

I'd say Peter Singer should be your go-to guy for the vegetarian arguments, JB.
OK, but I actually own a copy of "Created From Animals". Plus I just have this feeling that the cow that was sacrificed for my wallet lived a very rich biographical life.
Yikes. I'm late to this party, but. . . .
Carol doesn't know what she's talking about. Rachels is the shit for common sense morality arguments in favour of vegetarianism. The shit, I tell you.
Rachels, Singer - will either of them let me keep the wallet? 'Cause I like it even though it's made of animal.
